I am located in a Rhode Island coastal city. In tracking the oncoming hurricane, it is due to roar onshore in North Carolina before clobbering major, populated areas on the east coast.
Current predictions have Irene hitting New England on Sunday morning. Her effects: power lines down causing loss of electricity, cable services providing internet connections incapable of functioning, cell towers impaired prevented accessing the internet from smartphones…
If these horrendous side effects from Irene come to pass, I will be unable to post to this blog. Be assured that as soon as I am able, I will once again begin updating this blog.
