Mike Buscher Jim Duquette and daughter Lindsey are recovering after she gets dad’s kidney.
After a combined nine hours of surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on Monday, the most important transaction of former Met GM Jim Duquette’s life was complete —and his right kidney was successfully transplanted into the abdomen of his 10-year-old daughter, Lindsey.
“The kidney’s working great and Lindsey is good, recovering in the pediatric intensive care unit,” Pam Duquette, Jim’s wife and Lindsey’s mother, said Monday night. “She’s in and out, and in lots of pain, (but) they were very successful surgeries. READ ORE>>
