IRVONA PA- Tommy Chutko of Irvona was enjoying an afternoon at Delgrosso Amusement Park in August 2008 when he became ill. Chutko began throwing up, developed heaviness in his chest and his nose started to bleed.
His brother, Jason, who was with him at the park, took him to a hospital emergency room, where he was admitted and remained for a week. Blood work revealed that Chutko may have had a cold or something similar that never went away, and he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called IGA – a disease that attacks your organs.
